Hi everyone and welcome to Day 7 of my 30 days of gratitude challenge! I'm surprised that it's already been a week into doing this challenge but it's been a lot of fun so far! Today's theme is My Funny Moments.
Thankfully I love laughing and making other people laugh. I have my times when I'm serious, but you have to make things fun sometimes. When I worked at one of my old jobs back home in the States, one of my coworkers always used to make me laugh and so I looked forward to actually go in to work because he made things fun. It's the little things in life that make it worth while. You have a choice, you can either go into a job that you don't necessarily care for and just be a miserable person all day or you can go in with a smile and try to have the best day that you possibly can. So thank you Frank for making work fun for me!
I've learned that laughter really is the best medicine when you're feeling down. I try to find things that make me laugh like certain t.v. shows or movies. I loved watching Friends or Everybody Loves Raymond because those were the types of shows that I found funny. I've learned that the English tend to have a different kind of humor that tends to be more on the dry side. If you've never heard of Only Fools and Horses, then it's one that you should definitely check out! I'm always laughing at this show!
Until tomorrow's #30bbdaysofgratitude theme,
Ashley

I don't really have specific funny moments that I can think of but they tend to come naturally because I'm a blonde and a little naive! So I'm usually laughing at other people's expense most of the time. I try not to laugh when people get hurt but sometimes you can't help it (depending on the situation). I never quite understood why people think it's funny when someone else gets hurt, but maybe it's how it happens.
At this point in my life, I'm thankful to have anything make me laugh! I need a good pick me up for sure and I haven't laughed hard at something in a while so I think it's about time! I would love to hear any stories that you may have about a specific funny moment that's happened in your life, so please feel free to comment away!
Until tomorrow's #30bbdaysofgratitude theme,

Such a lovely post hun! What a great challenge to be part of. I agree... Sometimes you can't help but laugh at other people, for me it tends to be when my partner falls over something so stupid (which happens alot!) Haha

ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely post! To me my dogs always make me laugh, especially when they try to run on the wooden floor and just end up sliding around in the same spot haha
